Paris Saint-Germain manager Luis Enrique will leave his role at the end of the season and wants to take charge of Manchester United, according to Francois Gallardo.
The Spanish journalist has claimed that Enrique, a former Barcelona manager, wants to end his tenure at PSG, with whom he won Ligue 1 and the UEFA Champions League last season.
Gallardo wrote on X: “WORLD EXCLUSIVE Luis Enrique has made the decision to leave Paris Saint-Germain in the summer. He wants to end his tenure.
“His desire is to start a new challenge in another league La Premier…Manchester United.”
However, PSG sporting director Luis Campos, though, has denied that Enrique wants to leave.
Campos told Canal+: “100% fake news.”
Man United are on the hunt for a new manager following the departure of Ruben Amorim this week. The Premier League club plan to hire an interim manager for the rest of the season before appointing a permanent successor to the Portuguese.
