PSG sporting director Leonardo has since revealed that his former AC Milan team-mate is considering becoming a part of new coach Carlo Ancelotti’ backroom team and Maldini has admitted that a move to Paris appeals to him.

“I felt right at home. I always said I was ready to consider any proposals in the world of football but I have not offered myself to anyone and I never will.”

Maldini has rejected all previous coaching opportunities which have come his way since retiring from the game in 2009.

However, he know appears to be on the verge of accepting an invite to work with Ancelotti.
