Manchester United are planning to make a bid for Paris Saint-Germain goalkeeper Gianluigi Donnarumma, according to StrettyNews. Donnarumma is out of contract at PSG at the end of the 2025-26 season, and with contract talks not going well, Man Utd see an opportunity to bring the Italy international to Old Trafford.
Andre Onana is the number one goalkeeper for Man Utd at the moment, but the Cameroon international is injured at the moment and has also made major errors since joining the Premier League club from Inter Milan in the summer of 2023. While Onana wants to stay at Man Utd, manager Ruben Amorim wants a goalkeeper who is better than him.
It has been reported that Man Utd are ready to make an offer of £26 million for Donnarumma. The former AC Milan star has already turned down offers from Turkish Super Liga champions Galatasaray and Saudi Pro League giants Al-Ittihad because he wants to play in the Premier League, but it remains to be seen if Man Utd are appealing enough to him, especially given that they will not play in any European competition next season.
