According to the Daily Mirror this morning, Manchester City boss Mark Hughes will be keeping a close eye on the Schalke 04 goalkeeper tonight when the teams meet in the Uefa Cup.
The paper says that Manchester City want to sign Manuel Neuer and will launch a £12million bid for him in January.
The twenty-two year old keeper is regarded as one of the best in Germany and he has thirteen under twenty-one caps and has played nearly seventy league games for his club.
