Manchester City are interested in signing Ademola Lookman from Atalanta, according to Fichajes. The report has claimed that Man City, who are aiming to win the Premier League and the Champions League under manager Pep Guardiola this season, are planning to make a bid of €100 million for Lookman.
Lookman wanted to leave Atalanta in the summer transfer window and even went on strike to secure a move away from the Serie A club. Atalanta wanted €50 million for the former Everton forward, but no club were willing to pay that much for the Nigerian star.
Man City are 12th in the Premier League table at the moment with six points from four matches, nine points behind leaders Liverpool, who have played five games. As for Atalanta, they are fifth in the Serie A standings with eight points from four games, two points behind leaders Juventus.
