Manchester City are ready to sell John Stones in the summer transfer window, according to TBR. Stones had had injury problems in recent times, and Man City ar ready to move him on as they are ‘frustrated’ by his ‘lack of availability’.
Stones has been on the books of Man City since 2016 when he joined from Everton. The England international central defender has been superb for the Cityzens over the years and has established himself one of the best players in his position in the Premier League.
The defender has scored three goals and given two assists in 20 Premier League appearances for Man City so far this season. Stones has scored 19 goals and provided nine assists in 277 matches in all competitions for Pep Guardiola’s side. The Englishman has won the Premier League title six times, the FA Cup twice, the EFL Cup on two occasions, and the Champions League once with Man City so far this season.
