Manchester City will not sell Omar Marmoush in January

Manchester City will not sell Omar Marmoush in the January transfer window, according to Football Insider.

Aston Villa and Tottenham Hotspur are interested in Marmoush, but the Cityyzens have decided not to offload the Egypt international forward in the middle of the season.

The report notes: “Manchester City have made a final decision that they will not sanction an exit for Omar Marmoush before the end of the window, sources have told Football Insider.

“Pep Guardiola is keen to keep his entire squad intact as they look to compete for trophies on all fronts, while the forward is hopeful that he will receive more minutes in the second half of the season.”

Man City are second in the Premier League table at the moment with 46 points from 23 matches, four points behind leaders Arsenal and level on third-placed Aston Villa, while Tottenham currently find themselves 14th in the standings with 28 points from 23 games.
