Manchester City do not want to offload Savinho to leave in the January transfer window, according to Fabrizio Romano.
The well-known and well-respected Italian journalist has claimed that Man City want to keep Savinho for the rest of the season, despite suggestions that Tottenham Hotspur are keen on the Brazilian winger, having tried to sign him in the summer of 2025.
Romano told Men in Blazers YouTube channel: “No, I think it’s more complicated to sign Savinho in January. In the summer, let’s see because we never know.
“But in January, I don’t think Man City want to change anything in terms of the Savinho situation as they recently signed a new deal with him.
“So I think they trust him for this season for sure.”
Man City are second in the Premier League table at the moment with 40 points from 18 matches, five points behind leaders Arsenal, who have played 19 games.
