Manchester United have Morten Hjulmand on their radar

Manchester United are interested in signing Morten Hjulmand from Sporting Lisbon in the summer transfer window, according to CaughtOffSide. The report has revealed that Arsenal and Tottenham Hotspur are also keen on a deal for the 25-year-old Denmark international defensive midfielder.

Hjulmand is one of the best defensive midfielders in the Portuguese league, and Tottenham are said to be willing to submit an offer below his release clause of €80 million. While Man Utd are not considering a bid at this stage, the Red Devils manager, Ruben Amorim, knows him from his time at Sporting CP.

CaughtOffSide has added that Inter Milan, Barcelona and Paris Saint-Germain are keen on Hjulmand too. Hjulmand joined Sporting CP from Lecce in the summer of 2023. The Denmark international defensive midfielder has scored seven goals and given six assists in 91 appearances for the Portuguese powerhouse so far in his career.
