Manchester United could make a move for Newcastle United goalkeeper Nick Pope if Aaron Ramsdale joins the Magpies, according to talkSPORT. Man Utd are on the hunt for a new goalkeeper, and the Premier League giants could turn their attention towards Pope in the coming days and weeks.
Newcastle and Southampton have an agreement in place for Ramsdale to switch from the Championship club to the Premier League outfit on a loan deal with an option to make it permanent next summer. Ramsdale will reportedly undergo a medical with Newcastle on Wednesday before signing on the dotted line.
Pope is out of contract at Newcastle next summer. Newcastle are bringing in Ramsdale to compete with his English compatriot, but there are now suggestions that Man Utd could raid the Carabao Cup winners for one of their best players.
