Manchester United plan £60m bid for Jarrad Branthwaite

Manchester United are interested in signing Jarrad Branthwaite from Premier League rivals Everton in the January transfer window, according to CaughtOffSide. The report has claimed that Man Utd are planning to make a bid of £60million for Branthwaite.

Liverpool, who won the Premier League title last season, could also join the race, but it is Man Utd who are showing the stronger interest, with the Red Devils having long been keen on a deal for the England international central defender.

Branthwaite himself is ready to leave Everton and move to a bigger club, although it remains to be seen if he actively pushes for an exit should the Red Devils come calling for him. Man Utd are 11th in the Premier League table at the moment with seven points from five matches, while Everton currently find themselves 10th in the standings with seven points from five games.
