Manchester United are interested in signing John Victor from Botafogo in the summer transfer window, according to The Sun. The Red Devils are looking for a new goalkeeper, and they have identified the 29-year-old as a potential target.
Victor has been on the books of Botafogo since January 2024 when he moved from Brazilian rivals Santos. During his time at Santos, the 29-year-old has loan spells at Portuguesa Santista, Internacional and Real Valladolid.
According to The Sun, Madrid were watching Victor last summer. The Brazilian is playing for Botafogo at the 2025 FIFA Club World Cup and is open to moving to any club in England. Botafogo are ready to sell the goalkeeper for £6 million. Besides Victor, Man United also have their eyes on Aston Villa star Emiliano Martinez as well as FC Porto ace Diogo Costa.
