Manchester United target Nottingham Forest defender Murillo

Manchester United are interested in signing Murillo from Nottingham Forest, according to Fichajes. The report has claimed that Man United are looking to sign the Brazilian as a potential replacement for Harry Maguire.

Fichajes reports: ‘Murillo has established himself as one of Nottingham Forest’s most valuable assets, with the club unwilling to let him go without a historic financial compensation. 

‘The defender is ready to take the leap to a European giant to continue his professional progression and compete in the most prestigious tournaments. 

‘For Manchester United, finalising this acquisition would mean beating several major English and European clubs that are also interested in the player.

Man Utd are seventh in the Premier League table at the moment with 32 points from 21 matches, while Forest currently find themselves 17th in the standings with 21 points from 21 games, seven points above the bottom three.
