Manchester United are interested in signing Carlos Baleba from Brighton and Hove Albion in the January transfer window, according to Football Insider. Man United wanted to strike a deal with Premier League rivals Brighton for Baleba in the summer of 2025, but the Red Devils could not convince the Seagulls to sell him.
The Premier League giants are likely to go back for Baleba when the transfer window opens in January. However, Brighton are unlikely to be able to sell the youngster, which means that Man Utd will find it an issue to do a deal again.
Football Insider has reported that Brighton want over £100 million for Baleba, adding that it is unlikely that Man United would be willing to pay that kind of money. The report has added that the midfielder has been distracted by the speculation, which has affected his performance for Brighton so far this season.
