Inter are yet to contact Thiago Motta over a contract renewal, the player’s agent has declared.
The Brazil-born midfielder’s current deal expires in the summer of 2013, and while the 29-year-old is keen to prolong his stay at San Siro, the Inter hierarchy have not yet made their intentions known.
“Right now, there has not been any contact from clubs abroad,” player agent Dario Canovi told SportItalia.
“His desire is to stay, but there have been no signs from Inter that they want to renew his contract.”
“The player is fine and his relationship with the club is great.”
Motta, who arrived at Inter in 2009, has made 11 appearances in all competitions this season.
