Partizan Belgrade midfielder Nemanja Tomic’s agent has revealed that he has not yet had contact from Serie A side Lazio.
A number of recent reports suggested that the Stadio Olimpico side are interested in signing the Serbia international and Jovica Radonjic has stressed that his client would be more than happy to move to the Italian capital, but there has been no approach yet.
“Nobody from Lazio has been in touch with me about a potential transfer. I don’t know whether they have had contact with Partizan,” Tomic’s agent told Goal.com.
“Rome is a beautiful city and Lazio are a great club. Tomic would be honoured to wear the Lazio jersey. It’s one of his biggest desires to play for Lazio. ”
“We are awaiting a call to open talks. I think a transfer could already take place in January.”
The 23-year-old Tomic has a contract with Partizan until December 2013.
