Nottingham Forest are interested in signing Isaac Romero from Sevilla in the January transfer window, according to Fichajes. The Premier League club are closely following Romero and would be willing to pay between €20 million and €25 million for the 25-year-old forward.
Although Sevilla fans do not want the team to sell Romero, the club themselves could be open to cashing in on the forward to ease their financial problems. Sevilla finished as low as 17th in the La Liga table last season and have picked up four points from four league games so far this campaign.
Romero has been on the books of Sevilla since 2019 and has made 52 appearances for the Spanish club’s first team. The forward has scored 13 goals and given eight assists in those games. Forest are 15th in the Premier League table at the moment with four points from four matches.
