There has been a huge amount of speculation concerning what is likely to happen to Newcastle captain Michael Owen when his contract expires in the summer.
The Daily Mirror this morning puts a new possible destination on the agenda by suggesting that the England striker is a target for Italian side Genoa.
Genoa currently sit in mid-table in Serie A and would see Owen as another goal threat alongside Diego Milito and Marco Di Vaio.
