Liverpool can continue their dominant run over Bolton when they meet at Reebok Stadium in the English Premier League on Saturday.

Kenny Dalglish’s men are out to bounce back from a disappointing 0-0 draw at home to Stoke City, but have enjoyed a stellar run against Bolton.

Seventh-placed Liverpool have won their last 10 league meetings against Bolton, with the Wanderers’ last victory coming in September 2006.

After a stuttering five-game period in which they have won just once, Liverpool will be keen to collect three points against a struggling Bolton outfit.

While captain Steven Gerrard’s return gave them a boost, scoring goals has been a serious problem for the Merseyside club.

They are 11th for goals scored, behind Bolton, with 24, and desperately need striker Andy Carroll to start finding the net.

The former Newcastle United frontman has only struck two league goals this campaign, and was relegated to an appearance off the substitutes’ bench against Stoke.

Carroll’s, and Liverpool’s, goalscoring woes have come down to their predictability in the attacking third, a problem Dalglish will want to rectify.

They travel to take on a Bolton side in the relegation zone despite two league wins in their last five outings.

Owen Coyle’s men lost defender Gary Cahill after the England international completed his move to Chelsea on Monday.

Bolton have only collected four of a possible 30 points at home this season, while Liverpool’s away record (16 points of a potential 30) is excellent.

Croatia striker Ivan Klasnic (seven goals and four assist) has been a standout up front, but he has not scored a league goal since their 2-1 win over Aston Villa on December 10.

Coyle may still be without goalkeeper Jussi Jaaskelainen because of injury, while Marcos Alonso, Lee Chung-Yong and Stuart Holden remain out.

For Liverpool, Daniel Agger, Jay Spearing and Lucas Leiva are all likely to miss.

Liverpool have a strong recent record against Bolton, and they will be confident of returning to winning ways in the Premier League.
