Arne Slot is coming under increasing pressure at Liverpool following yet another defeat for the defending Premier League champions, according to Football Insider.
Liverpool suffered a defeat to Crystal Palace in the Carabao Cup in midweek, which was the Reds’ sixth loss in their last seven games.
Journalist Pete O’Rourke said: “Yeah, obviously, the pressure is definitely ramping up. As you said, Liverpool’s form has been nowhere near good enough.
“That’s six defeats out of their last seven games, they got that win in the Champions League last week and people though that might give them a springboard.
“They then lost to Brentford in the league, and it was a youthful side that lost to Palace in the cup, and from the outside it looked like Slot had written the game off.
“So, yeah, it’s a huge couple of weeks coming up for Arne Slot.
“Nobody saw this coming, the Liverpool slump in form after starting the season with five wins on the spin.
“So, yeah, real worrying times for Liverpool and the pressure will build if results don’t improve quickly.”
