Paris Saint-Germain have made it clear they are interested in Manchester City forward Carlos Tevez.
The Ligue 1 club’s general director, Jean-Claude Blanc, has reportedly flown to Milan to meet the Argentine’s representative Kia Joorabchian, as they look to secure a deal for the striker.
PSG owner Sheikh Al Thani is believed to be an admirer of the ex-Corinthians forward, and his relationship with his cousin and Eastlands owner Sheikh Mansour may benefit the Paris club.
The 27-year-old has been widely linked with a move to AC Milan in recent weeks, with the Serie A side keen to take Tevez on loan with a view to a 22 million euros permanent move.
While the former Manchester United striker and his representatives are keen to give priority to Milan, PSG’s offer of 30m euros to land him will no doubt prove more appealing to Manchester City.
However, the San Siro outfit may also face competition from Scudetto rivals Juventus, with The Daily Mail reporting that the high-flying Turin side are prepared to offer 23m euros for Tevez in January.
