Paris Saint-Germain midfielder Vitinha wants to join Real Madrid, according to Fichajes. The report in the Spanish news outlet has claimed that Madrid manager Xabi Alonso wants to bring Vintinha to the Santiago Bernabeu, and the star himself is keen on a move to the Spanish and European powerhouse.
Although there is no formal release clause in Vitinha’s contract, PSG would demand €90 million for the midfielder who played a key role in Luis Enrique’s side winning Ligue 1 and the UEFA Champions League last season. The 25-year-old has scored 20 goals and given 17 assists in 160 appearances for PSG so far in his career.
Madrid are at the top of the La Liga table at the moment with 18 points from six matches, two points clear of second-placed Barcelona. Meanwhile, PSG currently find themselves second in the Ligue 1 table with 12 points from five matches, level on points with leaders AS Monaco.
