PSG target Aston Villa goalkeeper Emiliano Martinez

Paris Saint-Germain are interested in signing Emiliano Martinez from Aston Villa in the summer transfer window, according to Football Insider. With Manchester United keen on a summer deal for Gianluigi Donnarumma, last season’s Ligue 1 and UEFA Champions League winners are now readying a move for Martinez.

Man Utd also have an interest in Martinez, but the Red Devils are unable to agree on a deal with the Villans. With Man Utd now attempting to convince Donnarumma to move to Old Trafford, PSG are planning a move of their own to replace the Italy international with Argentina international goalkeeper Martinez.

Villa need a big sale this summer to free up funds for new signings and are willing to cash in on Martinez for an offer of over £30 million. Martinez himself is ready to move on from the Villans, and one suspects that the chance to turn out for PSG and compete for major honours would appeal to the 2022 World Cup winner with Argentina.
