RB Leipzig are interested in signing Harvey Elliott from Liverpool in the summer transfer window, according to TBR. The Bundesliga club have made contact with the Premier League champions for Elliott as a potential replacement for Xavi Simons, who is on his way to Chelsea.
Journalist Graeme Bailey told TBR: “Harvey Elliott believes he needs to be playing every week.
“He loves Liverpool but he thinks he can go to the World Cup next summer.
“As we have revealed before, Jurgen Klopp loves him and thinks he is capable of filling that Xavi Simons void.
“Their interest has not gone away, having first made contact in June. But now Simons is close to leaving, they have returned to the table for talks.
“But there is interest in England too, his former club Fulham, West Ham and Tottenham.”
