Real Madrid are interested in signing Rasmus Hojlund from Manchester United in the summer transfer window, according to Defensa Central. The Spanish and European giants are looking for a new striker, and Hojlund has emerged as a loan option for the Red Devils.
Hojlund has been at Man United since 2023 when he joined from Atalanta. The 22-year-old has failed to make a huge impact at Old Trafford, and his future under manager Ruben Amorim is far from certain. Hojlund has scored 26 goals and given six assists in 95 appearances for Man United so far in his career.
Man United finished 15th in the Premier League table last season. Amorim’s side also reached the final of the UEFA Europa League, but they lost it to Premier League rivals Tottenham Hotspur. Meanwhile, Madrid finished second in the La Liga table last season and lost the final of the Copa del Rey to bitter rivals Barcelona.
