Cristiano Ronaldo and Joao Felix were among the goals again as Al-Nassr opened up a three-point gap at the top of the Saudi Pro League with a 3-1 win over 10-man Neom.

Stand-out performer Angelo got a deserved goal to swing the momentum in Al-Nassr’s favour, and the visitors got another advantage 56 minutes in as Luciano Rodriguez was sent off for violent conduct.

Nine minutes later, Ronaldo converted from the penalty spot after Khalifah Al Dawsari fouled Joao Felix in the box.

Ahmed Abdu pulled one back in the 84th minute, but Joao Felix restored the two-goal cushion two minutes later with a stunning long-range finish.

Al-Nassr remain perfect at the top of the table, though Al-Ahli also maintained their unbeaten run with a 1-0 win over Al-Ittihad.

Riyadh Mahrez got the all-important goal against the reigning champions in the 55th minute to claim bragging rights in the derby.

And in the other match on Saturday, the spoils were shared in a 1-1 draw between Al-Shabab and Al-Ettifaq, with Georginio Wijnaldum’s 86th-minute penalty cancelling out Abdulaziz Al Othman’s early opener.
