The Indianapolis Colts claimed a last-gasp 19-16 win over the Houston Texans in the NFL on Thursday.
The Colts – who went into the game with a horror season record of 1-13 – won their second match in a row in dramatic fashion.
With just 30 seconds left, the Colts trailed by four before attempting a last-ditch attempt at victory.
Dan Orlovsky led the charge and threw to Reggie Wayne who scored his side’s first, and only, touchdown of the match with just 19 seconds to go.
It came in a match riddled with field goals, with the only other touchdown scored on the third play of the game by Arian Foster of the Texans (11-5).
And Indianapolis’ late show was enough to deny the AFC South champions as their chances of not finishing bottom – which appeared slim to none two weeks ago – got a boost.
The St Louis Rams and the Minnesota Vikings have also won just twice this season and the Colts have a winnable trip to Jacksonville in the last week of their campaign.
