Ghanaian Premier League club Wassaman United have sacked coach Herbert Addo after a dismal run of form.
The club has won just two out of 15 games under Addo’s watch, leaving them bottom of the standings and having conceded 23 goals so far.
“We have terminated the appointment of the coach and it was mutual,” the CEO of Wassaman, Kingsley Baidoo, told the Ghana FA website.
“We believe he has lost control and it’s time for him to leave.”
Addo guided Aduana Stars to the title on their Premiership debut two seasons ago, but has failed to make the same impact with Wassaman.
The experienced coach was handed the job after Wassaman gained promotion for their debut Premier League campaign in August.
The Ghanaian league is on a break and resumes on February 19.
