Alex Iwobi quipped that Fulham “like to sign Arsenal players” when asked about potential incomings at Craven Cottage this summer.

Iwobi sealed his switch to Fulham from Everton back in 2023, and is one of many players to turn out for the Gunners and his current side in recent years.

Overall, 14 players have played for Arsenal and Fulham in the Premier League, three of whom are in Marco Silva’s ranks ahead of the 2025-26 campaign.

Bernd Leno, who made 125 appearances across all competitions for Arsenal, joined Fulham in 2022 with Iwobi following him a year later.

Ahead of last season, Emile Smith-Rowe penned a five-year contract with Fulham for a reported £27m transfer fee, a club record.

Fulham also secured the services of Reiss Nelson on a season-long loan from Mikel Arteta’s side, with Willian returning for a second stint at Craven Cottage in February.

The club have since confirmed that they will not be renewing Willian’s deal, while Nelson has returned to Arsenal.

Fulham are keen to build on their 11th-placed finish, with reports suggesting Joao Palhinha, who left for Bayern Munich last year, could be in line to return.

And speaking to Sky Sports, Iwobi was unable to give details on any potential arrivals, but hinted that Fulham could do business with Arsenal once again.

“That I do not know,” Iwobi said when asked about Fulham’s transfer activity. “But obviously we like to sign Arsenal players, maybe we’ll sign another.”

In terms of outgoings, it has been reported that Kenny Tete, who is out of contract at the end of this month, is close to agreeing a switch to Everton.
