West Ham United are on the verge of signing Evan Ferguson from Premier League rivals Brighton and Hove Albion on transfer deadline day, according to Fabrizio Romano. The well-known and well-respected journalist has claimed on X that Ferguson has already passed his medical at the Hammers.
The Hammers and the Seagulls have exchanged all documents for Ferguson, who will complete his move to London Stadium on Monday. Jacobs has claimed that the striker is expected to put pen to paper in the morning.
Romano wrote on X: “West Ham and Brighton have exchanged all documents for Evan Ferguson deal.
“Formal signature expected in the morning after medical done.”
West Ham are 15th in the Premier League table at the moment with 27 points from 23 matches, 10 points above the relegation zone. Meanwhile, Brighton currently find themselves 10th in the league standings with 34 points from 24 games. Ferguson has made 15 appearances for the Seagulls so far this season, scoring one goal in the process.
