Dynamo Kiev star defender Domagoj Vida will move to Besiktas once his contract with Ukrainian giants expires in December 2017.

The 28-year-old centre-back has become one of the most important first-team players with Dynamo Kiev over the past four years and has attracted plenty of interest in his services with Turkish powerhouse Besiktas leading the line for the Croatia international.

Dynamo Kiev rebuffed Besiktas’ approach for Vida during summer which turned out to be a mistake as they look set to lose one of their most important players on a free transfer in January.

Vida is under contract until the end of December and Turkish media Milliyet is reporting that the 28-year-old has already signed a pre-contract agreement with the in-form Turkish side.

The Croatia defender made seven league appearances for Dynamo Kiev, adding five more in the Europa League campaign, including 79 minutes in a 2-2 draw against Young Boys when he suffered a gruesome injury.

Dynamo Kiev captain was forced off after a clash with Moumi Ngamaleu with blood pouring from his head wound.
