Fernando Gago makes last minute switch to Roma

Argentine midfielder Fernando Gago has completed his move to Roma just few minutes before the transfer deadline in Italy.

The Real Madrid midfielder arrives to Roma on loan with an option to buy for €6.5 million at the end of the season.

The deal was wrapped up just few minutes before the 7 p.m. deadline in Italy and was later announced on club’s official website.

Palermo were also linked with a last minute bid for Argentine midfielder, but the player eventually opted for Roma.

The Giallorossi also revealed that they had loaned Matteo Brighi to Atalanta.
