AC Milan coach Massimiliano Allegri says there is still room for improvement for his side this season.
After a disastrous start to the current campaign, Milan have hit form, winning five of their last eight Serie A fixtures, including three in a row.
Italian striker Stephan El Shaarawy is in a rich vein of form, with the 20-year-old having scored 15 goals already this campaign.
Despite their impressive streak, Milan are still some way off the pace, sitting seventh in the league on 24 points.
And ahead of a home fixture against Pescara on Sunday, Allegri has urged further improvement.
“AC Milan has started to achieve positive results in the last month,” Allegri said.
“We have finally managed to score goals and have kept a good physical and mental intensity in the last matches. But sometimes we make mistakes in the management of the actions especially when the match seems easy.
“This is what we still have to improve and I believe the team is working on this.”
Allegri said his team will not take Pescara – who sit 18th on the table – lightly in the clash at the San Siro.
“Tomorrow we should be even more focused on this since tomorrow’s match is going to be difficult because Pescara is doing really good,” he said.
“Tomorrow we have to play a careful match and make a good technical performance. We should not underestimate the opponent and respect them as we have respected Reggina last Thursday.”
