Arsenal winger Gabriel Martinelli has been heavily criticized by all but the most die-hard Arsenal fans for reacting to what he perceived as time wasting by Conor Bradley, only for the Liverpool right-back to be stretchered off the pitch and later diagnosed with a very serios knee injury.
However, speaking to the press after the game, Liverpool head coach Arne Slot showed plenty of understanding for Martinelli, and it obviously left an impression on Arsenal boss Mikel Arteta.
