Mikel Arteta is demanding Arsenal stop giving points away after slipping to their second successive defeat.
The Gunners lost at struggling Norwich on Saturday before an inept performance in the Champions League against Schalke three days later saw them suffer a 2-0 loss.
Arteta has warned his team-mates they must arrest the slide for the visit of QPR on Saturday to get their season back on track.
“We have to bounce back,” the midfielder told The Daily Mirror. “We have two days now to get this result behind us and hopefully we can get a win on Saturday.
“The way we are giving these points away, for me it is not good enough.”
However, the Spaniard has faith in the squad and wants them to regain the focus that saw them chalk up a seven-match unbeaten run in all competitions at the start of the campaign.
“We are controlling most of the games but then we seem to make mistakes at certain times which is costing points,” he said.
“We cannot allow for that to happen.”
