French media outlet L’Equipe has learned that Barcelona are set to win the chase for Nice winger Hatem Ben Arfa.
The France international has been on the radar of virtually every top club after enjoying the most successful season of his career.
And with his deal with les Aiglons set to expire at the end of the current campaign, he is free to speak to interested sides.
According to L’Equipe, Barcelona are on the verge of reaching an agreement with Ben Arfa and everything suggests he will be moving to Camp Nou in the summer transfer window.
Hatem Ben Arfa has been Ligue 1’s most impressive performer this season, having scored 17 goals and set up another 5 in 32 league matches.
He has also played himself back into the first team plans of France coach Didier Deschamps and is widely expected to make the country’s Euro 2016 squad.
