Blackburn Rovers and Nottingham Forest are both in fine form ahead of this evening’s meeting in the Championship, and will fancy their chances of getting a result at Ewood Park today to continue their impressive run of results. Rovers looked resurgent under new manager Paul Lambert, while the Reds have finally turned things around to climb the table.

Blackburn are 11th in the league after 20 games, and could finish the day just one place outside the playoffs in they can dispatch of the Midlands side on home soil. As for the visitors, Forest are finally a safe way from the drop zone, and could leapfrog their opponents in the table with a convincing win. Dougie Freedman’s side are yet to replicate their upturn in form away from home, however.

Rovers are coming off the back of three wins from their last four games, but they have been guilty of picking up a lot of draws in their own backyard. Forest have won three in their last five, and would settle for less on the road as the underdogs.
