Brentford forward Bryan Mbeumo has told Tottenham Hotspur that he wants to join only Manchester United in the summer transfer window, according to The Athletic journalist David Ornstein.
Tottenham are keen on a summer deal for the winger, who worked with new Spurs manager Thomas Frank at the Bees, but the Cameroon international has made it clear that he only has eyes for Man Utd. This is despite Tottenham playing in the UEFA Champions League next season, while Ruben Amorim’s Man Utd will have no European competition whatsoever in the 2025-26 campaign.
Ornstein wrote on X: “Bryan Mbeumo has told Brentford & Tottenham he will only join Manchester United if he leaves Brentford this summer. #MUFC proposals £45m+£10m & £55m+£7.5m; still short of #BrentfordFC valuation – talks ongoing. #THFC deny making any offer @TheAthleticFC.”
Mbeumo was one of the stars for Brentford last season, scoring 20 goals and giving nine assists in the process.
