The Premier League has announced referee Mark Clattenburg is set to return to his duties on Sunday for Tottenham’s clash with West Ham.
However, he will be welcomed back in the fourth official role for the game at White Hart Lane and will return to the centre of the pitch on Wednesday when he will officiate the game between Southampton and Norwich.
It brings an end to a torrid couple of weeks for Clattenburg after he was accused of making racial remarks towards John Obi Mikel during Chelsea’s Premier League match against Manchester United in October.
He has since been cleared of any wrongdoing by the FA, and the 37-year-old described the accusations as ‘truly frightening’.
