Del Piero, 36, will be leaving the club at the end of the current season, when his 2012 deal expires.

A number of clubs including AC Milan have been linked with the former Italy international, and he is keen on maintaining his presence on the pitch.

“My future from June onwards will be that of a footballer, then I will have time,” Del Piero told TG1.

“For now I am only thinking of the present, but I can say that for the future I will carry on playing football.”

The player, who has attained legendary status at Juventus, becoming their all-time top goalscorer, joined from Padova in 1993.

Meanwhile, Juventus lead the Serie A standings and play Napoli on Sunday night at Stadio San Paolo.
