Eintracht want to sign William Osula from Newcastle

Eintracht sporting director Markus Krösche reportedly made every effort on deadline day of the summer transfer window to bring William Osula from Newcastle to Frankfurt. However, the Magpies did not want to have just Nick Woltemade as a striker in their ranks, being already resigned to losing Alexander Isak to Liverpool.

However, according to Sky Germany, that doesn’t mean Osula is off the radar for Frankfurt. In fact, the club is keen to sign the Premier League forward this winter—and it’s even possible that the Bundesliga side could add two strikers during the window.

Apparently, they already have a verbal agreement with the Danish striker, who remains eager to make the move. Eintracht are planning a loan deal for the winter for €3million) with an option to buy in the summer for €20million.

If the Osula deal falls through again, Eintracht have alternatives lined up, including Younes Ebnoutalib (SV Elversberg), as reported by Sky Sport. Meanwhile, Niclas Füllkrug—who is looking to leave West Ham this winter—is no longer on Krösche’s shortlist.
