Elbow fracture rules Drogba out for WC – report

(GSM) – Didier Drogba is set to miss the World Cup after he broke his elbow during the friendly match against Japan.

French magazine L’Equipe reports that the talismanic captain was taken to the hospital were he was diagnosed with aan elbow fracture.

The Chelsea striker picked up the knock 16 minutes into the game after a seemingly innocuous clash with Brazilian-born Japanese defender Marcus Tulio Tanaka and gave way to CSKA Moscow forward Seydou Doumbia.
