Hangeland aims for Fulham stay

Fulham defender Brede Hangeland admits he would be more than happy to continue his career at Craven Cottage.

The highly rated defender has been repeatedly linked with a move to Arsenal, but the transfer never materialized.

Hangeland has two years left on his deal at Craven Cottage, with Fulham officials set to open talks regarding a contract extension.

“I’m keen to talk,” he told the Fulham Chronicle. “There’s been some speculation linking me with other clubs but I’m not sure how concrete it was.

“I’ve really enjoyed my time at Fulham and loved every minute of it. Maybe there’s more to come. I just want to keep doing the best I can for the club.”
