June 26th: Wednesday’s Football Double – 3/1 Special, Betting Tips & Predictions

With the EURO 24 group stage drawing to a close on Wednesday, we have four European Championship showdowns on the cards from across Germany.

However, while the likes of EURO 24 and the Copa America might steal most of Wednesday’s headlines, we also have a couple of intriguing Brazilian fixtures on the cards.

For those of you looking to stick on a Wednesday flutter, we have found some of the most eye-catching midweek betting markets that are available.

20:00 Czech Republic vs Turkey

Although the Czech Republic might have opened this summer’s European Championships in the midst of a real flurry, Ivan Hasek’s men have struggled to find much stability on the major tournament stage. However, despite collecting just a single point from any of their opening two Group F appearances, they still have a real opportunity to punch a knockout stage ticket on Wednesday night.

Nevertheless, despite being disappointed last weekend as they eventually had to settle for a 1-1 stalemate against major tournament debutants Georgia, the Czech’s have suffered just a single defeat from any of their previous nine appearances across all competitions.

Signing off their pre-tournament preparations with a 2-1 victory against North Macedonia, the one-time Saint Etienne boss should be excited by a trip to Hamburg in midweek.

Despite seeking some recent defensive stability and failing to muster a single clean sheet across any format since opening 2024, the Czech Republic will know that three points on Wednesday night will be enough to officially clinch a second-place finish in Group F.

Although Turkey might have opened up their European adventure with an extremely hard-fought 3-1 win against Georgia on June 18th, the Crescent Stars came crashing back down to earth last week.

Falling to a routine 3-0 drumming at the hands of Portugal, the Reds have collected just a single victory from any of their previous seven appearances across all competitions.

Coming under a huge amount of scrutiny during March’s international break as they fell to an infamous 6-1 defeat against Austria, they will have a tremendous amount of pressure on their shoulders on Wednesday night.

23:00 Botafogo RJ vs Bragantino

Watching their extended flurry come to an abrupt end last weekend as they fell to a 2-1 defeat against Criciuma, Botafogo will certainly be seeking an immediate response here. Still battling it out at the top of the Serie A table and with their sights firmly set on securing a lucrative top-four finish, the Lone Star will be excited to make a return to home soil on Wednesday night.

Suffering just a single defeat from any of their previous 10 consecutive appearances across all competitions – a run that stems back to May 5th – Arthur Jorge’s men are pencilled in as a standout contender here.

Including a 1-0 win against Fluminense, the former Braga boss has seen his squad muster 19 points from their last eight matchups at the Nilton Santos across all formats.

Looking to make up some ground in the title chase, it should also be highlighted that Botafogo have suffered just a single domestic defeat in front of their own supporters since way back on February 18th.

Making an immediate return to winning ways last weekend as they secured a hard-fought 2-1 win against relegation scrappers Vitoria, Bragantino will now be looking to find some recent stability.

Failing to collect back-to-back domestic victories over the past two months, Wednesday’s guests will certainly have a mounting headache over their extended issues away from the Nabi Abi Chedid.

Along with muster just two wins from any of their previous 12 away fixtures across all competitions, it should also be noted that Bragantino have lost five of their six historic trips to the Nilton Santos.
