Juve legend dies, aged 89

Former Juventus winger Carl Aage Praest has died, aged 89.

Praest, who would have turned 90 in February, passed away on Sunday.

Praest enjoyed an illustrious career which included winning a bronze medal at the 1948 Olympic Games in London with Denmark.

At a domestic level, he played 232 games for the Turin-based giants before moving to Lazio, where he retired in 1957.

Praest, who played alongside fellow Denmark international John Hansen, won two Italian league titles during his time with the Turin club.
