Juventus consider Tonali swoop in January

According to Gazzetta dello Sport, Juventus are monitoring the market ahead of the opening of the January transfer window carefully. They are ready to make signings, but only those those that may make proper impact straight away. If such opportunities do not present themselves, they will rather stay quiet.

The Bianconeri have a long list of desired targets, but their current needs are a winger and a playmaking midfielder. There is no specific preference for a wide attacker, but they would very much like to sign Sandro Tonali from Newcastle to boost their midfield.

Tonali joined Newcastle from AC Milan back in 2023 for €60million, and his contract with the Magpies runs until 2028, which means his services won’t come cheap. His presence in the middle of the park is of crucial importance for Eddie Howe’s team.

On the other hand, the 25-year-old Italy international is believed to have warmed up to the idea of returning to his homeland.
