Juventus reignite interest in Kolarov

Italian newspaper Tuttosport reports that Juventus are ready to return for Manchester City full-back Aleksandar Kolarov.

The Bianconeri have been keeping close tabs on the defender since he was on the books of Lazio, but they missed out on the Serbia international as he opted to join Manchester City instead.

Juventus officials, however, never gave up on Kolarov and they believe the time has come to finally add the player to their ranks.

In spite of the promising start to his career at Eastlands, the Serbian full-back has lost his place in the side to Gael Clichy and he is now looking to leave his current employers.

He is rumoured to be interested in a return to Italian Serie A, with Juventus ready to pounce. Kolarov’s price has decreased a great deal over the last year or so and the Bianconeri are hoping a €10 million bid would do the trick.

The only problem is the player’s €6 million yearly wage, so Kolarov might need to accept a pay cut in order to facilitate his move to Turin.
