Scotland finished top of Group C of the World Cup qualifications, beating Denmark in an extremely exciting contest at Hampden Park on Tuesday.
Scott McTominay opened the scoring less than three minutes in, but Denmark equalized through Rasmus Hojlund from the spot in the 52nd. Lawrence Shankland briefly restored Scotland’s lead in the 78th, before Patrick Dorgu set the score back level in the 82nd. Kieran Tierney than netted Scotland’s third in the third minute of stoppage time, and as Denmark went all out in search of yet another equalizer, Kenny McLean punished them in a spectacular way in the 98th.
