Krasic keen to stay at Juve

Juventus winger Milos Krasic said he is not intending to move away from the Juventus Arena, despite a lack of game time this campaign.

The former CSKA Moscow man was one of the club’s stand-out performers last term, but since Antonio Conte’s appointment in the summer the 27-year-old has mainly been used as a substitute, seeing only 284 minutes of playing time.

Krasic has been linked with moves to both Manchester clubs, Chelsea, Milan and Sevilla but a transfer in January appears unlikely, according to the player himself.

“Last season I was considered to be indispensable, now I hardly play at all,” he told Tuttosport.

“But that club has not told me I am for sale. It’s a shame not to be a protagonist, but I am happy the team is doing well right now.”

“I am here and not thinking about leaving. We’ll see if things can improve over time. It’s true that I am in a bit of a crisis, but I want to give my all in training to get back into the starting 11.”

“We’ll see how things go in January or June, but I repeat nobody at Juventus has told me I am on the market. It can happen that a coach sees one player better in some moments than others.”

Juventus face an away trip to Lazio on Saturday, when Krasic will be hoping to be involved in the top-of-the-table clash.
