Leeds United will have to make a big bid to sign Aleksandar Mitrovic in the summer transfer window, according to Football Insider.
The 30-year-old Serbia international striker is on the books of Al-Hilal at the moment, but there is a chance that the former Fulham star could be sold after the Saudi Pro League club signed Darwin Nunez from Liverpool.
Journalist Pete O’Rourke told Football Insider: “[Mitrovic] won’t be cheap with his massive wages in the Saudi Pro League, but he’s Premier League-proven.
“Leeds desperately need to bring in somebody who can score the goals [for them] in the Premier League next season, if they’re to have any chance of staying up.
“Mitrovic would be a brilliant signing for Leeds, but they must break the bank to get it done.”
Leeds are playing in the Premier League this season after winning automatic promotion from the Championship at the end of the 2024-25 campaign.
